    Hello Trish,

I am a new member of your blog. I live in Montreal in the province of Québec Canada.

I found your website one day while browsing embrodery sites. I could not believe such
beautiful work was possible in embrodery. I immediatly purchased your book and dvd
“The long and the short of it”. Yesterday I started working on the pansy design.

Your book and dvd are so easy to follow, I will send you a picture when my work is
    complete.

Being a Hardanger embroiderer for may years and plain embrodery also I love
    to experience new techniques.

    Best regards,
    Louise

I just found the The African Cross Stitch Collection book available through Amazon.com in the US. The books are sent from other suppliers, but there is one supplier that is Amazon in Florida.

  4. Dear Trish, I have read the question of Kerry-Ann about the book the African Cross Stitch
    collection.
At Amazon.co.uk she can buy it, new as well as second-hand.
Their second-hand books are really good.
Hope she will read my response.
    Kindest regards
    Cis from the Netherlands

I love your work! I am an artist, I love beautiful things, and I recently discovered my great-grandmother’s two tablecloths with embroidery – she was almost as good as you. I treasure these pieces and have been inspired to do my own tablecloth for this coming Christmas (after a bit of practice). I used to do cross stitch and I plan to teach myself needlepainting from your books. I have a question – when working on a very large piece of fabric such as a tablecloth, I am assuming I will need to use a hoop rather than a frame? Also, any advice on suitable fabric for a tablecloth that is also suitable for needlepainting would be much appreciated.
    Kind regards

Trish – please put me on your list of “notification”, if you have one, for when
both of your new books become available. I have your “Short and Long” DVD and of course you know – it’s wonderful! I want everything you are putting out in books and DVD’s for I can never get enough of your talent and needlepoint beauty. Thank you.

    Dear Trish
I have received so many wonderful encouraging comments on my almost finished “Giraffe at Waterhole” from your The African Cross Stitch Collection. Is there any possibility of supplying my customers with patterns / more books for sale?

    Many thanks
    Kerry-Anne

Thanks Kerry-Anne, I really enjoyed producing that book but that was many years ago and I have a feeling the book has been discontinued overseas but I think the book is still available through Wild Dog Press in South Africa – I will make some enquiries. Alternatively I often find them available very cheaply through Kalahari. Net, who charge less than my wholesale price. I have to get them through the Publishers and by the time I land them in SA they are very costly.
      best wishes Trish

I love your work, such delicate colours blended so well, I have one of your books, Finest flowers in Embriodery and hope it inspires me to do some of the lovely ideas. Kindest regards from New Zealand.
