Am back from holiday and yes you guessed it right it was MAURITIUS. For those of you who have never been there start saving it is the most blissful piece of paradise. I was waited on hand and foot, swam all day long and even got my hair wet, something I have not done for at least 20 years. I did not manage to buy a new swimming costume but the old one with the baggy backside looked very fetching:) or so I thought but then I didn’t know anyone except my family who disowned me on day one – especially when they found me whooping down the kids slide into the swimming pool (yes and I have the photo to prove it!) I put two inches onto my waistline by eating copious amounts of gorgeous food at the breakfast and dinner buffet and went shopping, what more could a girl want?
I have almost completed my doodle stitching which I will show you next week.
Back to a chilly Cape Town and reality. Hope alls well with you. Trish
Hi Trish, it was not hard to know where you were going on vacation. When you sent the picture all I did was place the curser on the picture and it showed MAURITIUS as a pop up note on the picture.

Welcome back, Trish. I’m glad you had such a splendid time. Can’t wait to see your doodle stitching.
Glad you are back and that you have had a smashing time but I am sure you feel it could have been longer! Weather very up and down here although today glorious sunshine which always makes you feel better. My daughter Claire had another baby son yesterday and all well so it has been hectic – now 3 grandsons so it has been suggested we are building a cricket team! However I have the feeling that this will be the last. The stitching I am not finding easy but it is progressing and I am keeping up with your suggestion emails which is good – I also wondered how you can get all those colours in! Doodle stitching what is that? – I look forward to seeing it. Weekend almost here so hope it is a good one for you.
