Etsy Shop

Hello Everyone

Well I am back from the Ighali Convention – I had a wonderful class, they all managed to finish their little birds and I am so proud of them all.  I came back brimming with new ideas which  I will tell you all about next week when I get the photos etc organised.

There was one little incident that will probably give you all a good laugh:  on unpacking my class kits I found the home phone tucked in the box!  I then had to phone my husband and explain that I had the phone and they would not be reachable on the landline that week – apparently he put a message on the answering machine to this effect:  “My wife has taken the home phone with her on her trip – we apologise but are not reachable untill her return”!!

Thinking back I had packed all the kits in a box and had the phone with me upstairs so put it into the box to take downstairs, then packed the box into the car.  Anyway I got the prize for the best blunder the first night at Ighali which provided everyone with a good laugh.

This week I wanted to introduce you to my new Etsy Shop.  You can visit it here ETSY SHOP.

I have big plans for this Etsy shop – when time allows I hope to add exclusive “needlepainting with a difference”  kits – but of course I will get your opinions on these at a later date.   So many ideas so little time!

I have also joined Pinterest so you may want to have a look at my boards here:  PINTEREST.  I have spent many hours searching for appropriate pictures for my new Colour Schemes Booklet – which I am working madly on between other things, and found that Pinterest was a great source of artwork – it really is wonderful.

I would love it if you let me know what you think of the Pinterest boards and also my new shop, as always your feedback is appreciated.

The online class is now open and assessments are already coming in – good to see such enthusiasm I think we are going to have fun.

Meantime, wherever you are have a wonderful week and many happy stitching hours.  Trish

  1. Hi Trish, Got the Kew Book and it is just beautiful. I wonder if you sell the threads for each of the projects in a pack which would make it easy for us to begin stitching?

  2. It’s a relief to know someone as fantastic as you can do silly little things, too. I once put my cell phone in the refrigerator… I didn’t find it until that evening- luckily it didn’t suffer from frostbite or laryngitis LOL …

  3. You’re a case, Trish! One thing about you – you’re so down to Earth and normal – not trying to put on a ‘perfect woman’ show. You share your mishaps and funnies with the world to laugh with you.=)

I do totally sympathise with the ‘so many ideas, so little time’ problem!

  4. (snicker) Funny! Maybe you need to invest in a home phone with two handsets? That way, if you are “hogging” one, the other one will still be available for the rest of the family. 🙂

  5. Oh my! Oh MY MY! OH Oh … my sides and face now hurt from laughing!

This is something so familiar to me – and I can only say my beloved husband would have more laughs on this sort of thing. Thank you, Trish, for sharing a beautiful bit of Life.

    (my face still hurts)

    Gentle as you go …

    1. Thought that might appeal to you Marny, I often repeat your comment about putting my husband and kids into the kennels when I went away! Thanks for the laugh. Trish

  6. Hi Trish,
I have a big laugh, It seems so very me, to pack the phone hahahah!

I love the Etsy Shop and already joined Pinterest! I love the boards.

Enjoy the week, especially the online class.
