Christmas Capers

Hello Everyone

It has been a busy two weeks finalising the Colour Scheme Booklet to go to press.  There has been lots of tooing and frowing between printers and myself trying to get the colours right in print and also achieving the best layout.  I am excited about this book and hope that you are going to enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed creating it.  Hopefully next week I will have received the first copies and will be able to tell you more about it and give you some sample pages, meantime here is the cover.

This week I have been invited to participate in an Art Exhibition and am busy framing some of my better pieces that have accumulated over the years from books, kits etc.  I was shocked to find that I had over 50 pieces of embroidery stashed in a box, so hopefully some of these will find a good home and be enjoyed by the new owners.  I must admit to feeling a bit sentimental about some of them and it will not be easy to part with them but have to be practical so here we go, I will keep you posted!

Christmas is fast approaching so have decided to give you a little free project that may inspire some of those gifts you are hoping to stitch.  They are mainly white work projects that I did some time ago, if I remember rightly all my family and friends received a hand made gift that year whether they liked it or not??   You can download the patterns here.

For those of you who live in the New York, US area my thoughts are with you and I hope that you have not been too adversly affected by your recent disaster.  Here is a little citation that helps to know you are not alone.
