Inspirations Goes Digital

Hello Everyone

This week I hoped to share with you the first copies of the new Traditional Colour Schemes Book but unfortunately there was a glitch at the printers, and they have had to be re-printed.  This means a delay of a few more weeks, which at this time of year means “After Christmas”, so on a positive note we will have something to look forward to in the New AYear!  Christmas is fast approaching and with that in mind a little reminder that I will be taking last orders on the 15th December and will not re-open till the first week of January.

This last week I participated in an art exhibition here in Somerset West, near Cape Town and said goodbye to some of my pieces which have found new homes.  (I really must learn not to get sentimental about my work – its wonderful to know that they have come out of storage and that someone else is getting pleasure from them).  Having taken this step it has given me the courage to part with a few more so I will be placing these for sale on Etsy in the near future.

I was excited to learn that the worlds premier embroidery magazine,  INSPIRATIONS  in Australia has gone digital.  So for those of you who cannot afford to subscribe to the hard copy you can now have access on your computer, ipad, iphone or kindle, fantastic!   Mary Corbet gave a detailed account which you can read about here.   Thanks Mary!  You can click on the image below to access the subscription website.

Meantime wherever you are have a wonderful week and many happy stitching hours.  Trish

  1. If there is one thing more frustrating than print delays – it is print delays just before Christmas! I am sorry to hear about that, but on the other hand you wouldn’t want to risk printing errors in a book about colours. I am certain it will be wonderful when it arrives.
