Have a laugh

Hello everyone

I can’t believe the week is nearly over – hope you all had a nice Easter break.  We had the usual easter egg hunts and family for lunch on Sunday which I love – and managed to get a bit of stitching done in between which is always a treat.

Am feeling very inspired at the moment and have a few surprises in store for you in the next few weeks when I get the instructions done.   I think my family despairs when I get the “Inspiration Bug” – I sort of walk around in a daze thinking, eating and sleeping embroidery – they feel sorry for me because they think I am going through the menopause or early dementia, which is probably partly true but mainly my mind is elsewhere.   Last week my 11 year old daughter said “Mum what is the toothpaste doing in the fridge?”  I answered “I don’t know see what is in the pantry cupboard that should be in the fridge and swap them over”.   Last night I asked her if the toothpaste she had found in the fridge was new, still in the box and she said yes it was – which made me feel better because it meant I had unpacked it with the groceries and put it in the fridge – I had the awful feeling that I might have walked through to the kitchen with the used toothpaste tube from the bathroom and put that in the fridge – perhaps I should check to see if my toothbrush is there also?

Ok so you can have a good laugh at my expense!!!

Anyway the point of this post before I started rambling on about the toothpaste, was to let you know that the NTSC format DVD is now back in stock – that is the one that plays in the USA and Canada.  You can find it on the Etsy shop here.  Just a quck reminder that if you live in the USA or Canada you need to order the NTSC format and everywhere else in the world is the PAL format.

Meantime wherever you are be it winter, summer or spring have a wonderful weekend and happy stitching.  Trish

  1. Ha ha-my husband grabbed the Desitin ointment once and brushed. It only took a second to realized it wasn`t right– Desitin is a cod liver oil based diaper rash salve.:)

  2. I cannot say that I have ever left the toothpaste in the fridge while unpacking groceries, but I have put both hand lotion and tortilla chips there.

  3. Happens to us all from time to time, hun, worry not! Speaking of toothpaste, we were once away overnight for an event and had small tubes of both toothpaste and Savlon in our toilet bag. I learned to pay more attention to which was which when I tried to bruch my teeth with Savlon that morning….=)
