Well I’m sat here on a nice relaxing Sunday.
Your latest book is winging its way to me as we speak, and, because I wont be able to attend your London Day Courses, which put me in a very grumpy mood, I have also ordered your Colour Confidence book as well. All of a sudden, I’m happy again.
I couldn’t agree more with Alexandra’s comments on the lack of supply of Southern Belle fabric in the UK, I haven’t been able to find anything that comes even close to it here. I know we can get the cotton sateen, but not Southern Belle. I have to admit, I did laugh at the thought of you boarding the plane with a full roll of Southern Belle slung over your shoulder.
I did make tentative enquiries at one point to see if I could purchase a roll and then offer some to other stitchers in the UK, but when postage was included, it proved to be too expensive. If I do find a source in the UK, I will let your readers know. At least we can now purchase it from yourself when we need some.
My snowdrops are out already, just thought I’d share that bit of useless information with you Trish 🙂

Ha Ha Shelagh yes that would be funny especially as I negotiate my way to the back of the plane with the bolt of fabric bumping into everyone – I can just see the other passengers faces! We laugh but I have done that with my projector screen before, it was a nightmare and now I make sure that the venue has one already. I will see if I can find a source of cotton muslin in the UK – it will be imported as is manufactured by Springs in the USA but lets see what we can do. Hope you enjoy the book. Trish

I’ve already received my copy of your new book (received as a late Christmas present from my husband) and it is so beautiful with loads of really useful info. I’ve worked through your DVD so am really looking forward to starting on the beginners piece in the new book.
I also really want to attend the workshop in London on the 1 July so will be setting my alarm clock on Monday to make sure I get a place from the Etsy shop. I shall be so disappointed if I miss out. Will you be able to bring any supplies to sell, it is very hard to get the Southern Bell material here in the UK.
