Great Horned Owl

Hello everyone

Hope you have had a good week and looking forward to the weekend?

For those of you who have been waiting in anticipation the Great Horned Owl is complete.  I am working on the instructions and hope that the pattern will be in the shop by end of next week.

I have labelled the skill level for this project as Advanced Plus.   It is a challenging piece and you will require experience in Needle painting and the ability to use the photo for placement of colours.  Having said that it will be a piece to be very proud of once completed:)

For those of you who prefer something a little less challenging we have some lovely new Hoop Art embroideries in the pipeline,  reproduced from illustrations by artist Clare Owen UK.   I look forward to sharing this and more with you in the next few weeks, in the meantime if you want to see stitching progress shots join me on Instagram.

The Digital shop has had a makeover.  You should find it easier than ever to navigate, around the store, there are some new patterns and the videos have been updated and put into a gallery for easy viewing.  Iron on transfers for all the PDF patterns are available in the embroidery shop so no need to trace your own outline.  PDF patterns can be  instantly downloaded from the store, no waiting for it to be shipped – this little video shows you how.

Till next time wherever you are in the world, keep smiling and happy stitching!

  2. I love all your designs, its hard to choose, but the hoop art is such a good idea, as they can be changed around, I can see there is going to be a shortage of hoops!!
