Hello everyone
Today I have some sad news. Customs & Exports today informed me that no new shipments could leave the country until such time as I acquired an export license to ship overseas. I have been exporting for many years with no problem at all but this is an unforeseen by-law and I have no choice but to comply. Unfortunately it takes up to 2 weeks for the application to be approved and until such time I am not allowed to ship any parcels outside the country.
I have spent most of the day trying to find a solution with the various authorities but to no avail, so I have no choice but to close the shop as I am unable to fulfill any orders. Please accept my deepest apologies, I am very distressed about this, but there is nothing I can do.
The digital store will remain open as usual and I hope that we will soon be open again for business. Customers who have placed orders in the last few days will be contacted individually – if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me by email.

So sorry to learn of your problem with Customs & Exports. Such complex, and sometimes incomprehensible, rules that are not always clear. I am sure it will all be resolved quickly and you will be able to carry on as usual. Your loyal customers will have no problem being patient whilst this wrinkle is ironed out!
