  1. Hi Trish,

I have just listened to this Talk. I was most interested to hear your talk and the stage you are at, at the moment. I am an Australian designer who in the 1990’s went through what you are going through.

We give so much to our customers and students that it is so difficult to ‘step back’ and make choices that really suits us. Sometimes I feel as if ‘our followers’ want us to stitch the pieces for them. 😊

I just wanted to contact you and to give you some support from ‘across the ocean’. I am sure it will all work out OK for you in the future.

    take care Merrilyn

    1. Hi Merrilyn. Thanks so much for sharing your story with me it is wonderful to hear from a like minded person who has had a similar experience, and your support is very much appreciated😊 You are so right about everything you say, so glad I am not the only one! I did reply to your comment on Fiber talk but think it has not been approved yet. With my best wishes Trish

  2. I have been following you and Garry Parr for a long time because I really love both of your work.I already listened the podcast.Glad that you accepted the interview, it was great to hear about you and your story how you started designing.Happy stitching. Best wishes, Rose

  3. Great interview. Love that you are entirely self taught as that freedom of design and skill really shines in your work. I think you truly convey the idea to take your designs and guidance and run with it!! Thank you for being an inspiring teacher and very talented artist. You have brought much challenge and joy into my life 🤗 Susan PitcherWest Palm Beach, FL
