Happy New Year.

Hello everyone

Happy New year! I hope that 2020 brings everything of the best and many happy stitching hours.

As always I have lots of new ideas for the New Year which I will post on the blog as and when available. Here are a few things to share:

Books

Kew book of embroidered flowers

At last I am able to share with you some news on the long awaited release of the new book in May 2020: The Kew book of embroidered flowers, which is now available for pre-order on Amazon, Penguin Random House, Search Press, Barnes & Nobles, Fishpond and many other online book outlets. In a recent article about new embroidery books Mary Corbet said “This is my most-anticipated book in 2020!” (you and me also Mary and thank you). You can read the full article on Mary Corbet’s site here. I will be posting more about the Kew book in a future blog post.

Trish Burr’s Embroidery Transfers

In the pipe line with Search press, this book will be available in June 2020. The book is a compilation of over 70 iron on transfers from my last 4 books and some bonus designs. The book is available for pre-order but the individual transfers packs included in this book – pack 5, 6, 7 & 8 will still be available for sale till such time as the book is released mid year. Again I will post more information on this book in a future blog post.

Online Classes

Many of you have been requesting online classes, so you will be happy to hear that these will at last be available in 2020. You can find more information here. I have been giving a lot of thought as to how to best present these classes and feel it works best if you can work at your own pace, so I plan to make them available as digital downloads in step by step format with an online class forum to share your progress.

The classes will be on the “Art Of Shading” – so you will not only have the opportunity to learn this embroidery art but also to study it in more depth. More details will be posted on the blog once I have had time to complete the projects and instructions.

Other

This year I hope to provide fabric prints for all future embroidery patterns and also linen fabrics in different colours. I will post about these and more ideas in a future blog post.

In the meantime, wherever you are in the world, ease gently into 2020, keep smiling and happy stitching!

Trish

    1. Bonjour. Malheureusement, il est trop coûteux de traduire la leçon en français précis, mais oui, il est possible que mes futurs livres soient disponibles en français. Trish
