New in the shop

Hello everyone

I hope your week has gone well and you are looking forward to the weekend. It has been a busy time both business wise and personally, and I apologise that some items have been out of stock for some time, but pleased to let you know that they are now back.

Linen

There is limited availability of the premium white linen which is in store whilst stocks last. The manufacturers in Belgium have notified me that it is in production but will not be available till middle of May. However I am pleased to let you know that the Monaco Belgium linen has arrived and is available in different colours. I tested out this linen at the end of 2019 and found it be to a beautiful linen to stitch on – it is a slightly heavier weight then the premium linen but has a good hand and can be used successfully for both Needle painting and Whitework.

Monaco is available in shades (from left to right) Slate blue, Natural, Cloud cream and drizzle. They are gorgeous subtle shades that make lovely backgrounds for embroidery. I particularly liked the drizzle which is a soft shade of grey and shows up the embroidery beautifully, and the slate blue which is similar to denim.

Printed Pattern Bundles

There is a special limited offer on discontinued pattern booklets available whilst stocks last. Bundle 1 and 2 each consist of 6 different pattern booklets:

Bundle 1

  • Miniature Campagne Landscape
  • Little Bird & Flower lesson
  • Redoutes sweet peas
  • Malachite Kingfisher
  • Giraffe with Barbara Streisand eyes
  • Jug of flowers

Bundle 2

  • Miniature Provencal Landscape
  • European Bee Eater
  • Kingfisher & Flower tutorial
  • La Redoute Morning Glory
  • Geisha Girl
  • Lesson in miniature needle painting

Embroidery Courses

I am working hard to complete the new Embroidery Courses and hope to have them ready to launch before end of March 2020. Some of you have asked if they will be in live video format similar to Craftsy but regrettably, this would mean I would have to hire a professional to film at my studio which is a lengthy and expensive process. Rest assured I have given a lot of thought to the best way to present the courses, ensuring that you have a positive and relaxed learning environment.

Till next time wherever you are in the world, keep smiling and happy stitching!

  1. Hallo Trish, so glad to hear about your online courses. The material you have in stock now looks wonderful. I need to get your book for Needle Painting for beginners.

  2. Morning Trish I realise that you are busy, but, do you have any idea when the protea pattern will be available?
