Hello everyone
Hope you are doing well? This week we are going to talk about iron on transfers. No more tracing outlines by hand or wobbly lines, iron on transfers for most of my patterns and books can now be purchased as an optional extra.
Trish Burr’s Embroidery Transfers
I am pleased to let you know that the new Trish Burr’s Embroidery Transfers book is now available for pre-order and will be released in October 2020. It is available on Amazon and all good online booksellers.
This book includes all the iron on transfers needed for my four most recent books plus six new bonus designs. This fantastic resource book contains over 70 transfers for embroidery designs on easy-to-use iron-on transfer paper, with full-colour stitch inspiration for each. You can find more information here.

A bit about the book
These iron on transfers were originally sold in packs on my site, but are now bundled together into one convenient book. The book can be ordered worldwide, in your country of origin, no more waiting for it to be shipped from South Africa!
There are six bonus designs in the book with coloured reference pictures created by artist and illustrator, Clare Owen. You can use these for anything from embroidery to quilting, colouring or art, wherever your imagination takes you!

How to use the iron on transfers
The iron on transfers in this book and my Kew book of embroidered flowers may differ slightly from the transfers I sell in packs on my site, as naturally the transfers come from different sources, using a variety of sublimation inks and papers. I have rigorously tested out the book transfers and included instructions on the best way to use them, so if you are having difficulty achieving a clear outline please refer to these instructions. The instructions include methods for both small, medium and large transfers as shown below.

Iron on transfer packs
Iron on transfer packs are still available on my site for all the PDF patterns. These have now been amended slightly to include Bumper packs for Needlepainting and Whitework, plus some new smaller packs for specific subjects such as Flowers, Birds, landscapes, tutorials etc.

Till next time wherever you are in the world, keep smiling and happy stitching!
Trish
