Help & Resources

Hello everyone, hope all is good with you?

Did you know that there is a section on my site called HELP & RESOURCES which is a one stop source for everything you need to know about hand embroidery? This has replaced the previous Discover & Learn section and has been recently updated to include everything you might need to know about hand embroidery.

Learn About

If you are a complete beginner and don’t know where to start you can access the LEARN ABOUT menu and find information on this style of embroidery, preparation, materials needed and completion.

You will be guided to beginner lessons, classes, books and videos to get you started, or if you want to try out embroidery before investing in a pattern or product, you will find several free tutorials, patterns and a stitch guide available for download here. If you want to know how to wash and block your embroidery or mount it when finished this section shows you what to do. All instructions are provided with step by step photos and text.

Resources

This is the place to go for both beginners and more experienced embroiderers alike. You will have free access to VIDEOS, COLOR CHARTS, THREAD CONVERSIONS, and a list of worldwide suppliers for threads and materials. You may be interested to know that the Thread Conversions have been manually formulated by the expert Krisztina Toth of Stitch Palettes and are possibly the most accurate substitutes you will find online.

Get Help

In the GET HELP menu you can find information on orders, payments, shipping, PDF patterns, Wholesale, copyright etc. If you lose a file or are not sure how to download your pattern this guide will show you what to do. If you are not sure how long your order will take to be delivered or if you can share a pattern with others you will find the information here.

The Help & Resources section is a complimentary service provided as a gesture of goodwill for all embroiderers. Take a moment to browse the section and sure you will be amazed at what you find!

Till next time, wherever you are in the world, keep smiling and happy stitching.

Trish
